Paraffin oil is food oil, colorless odorless, tasteless (use in pharmaceuticals).
Paraffin oil is mainly used to protect the free surface of the wine from the oxidation caused by contact with air.
For this reason, it is mainly used by amateur winemakers to protect their wines that are in half-filled barrels and tanks.
